On Thursday during after school math tutoring, one of her students (Isaac) solved a mixed fraction problem and started to give the answer. In the middle of giving the answer he stopped and said, "I can give you the answer in the LANGUAGE OF THE STANDARDS!" And he did just that!! GREAT JOB RAINA! You should be PROUD!!

Kudos to Super Observent Dowell Teachers! A large (empty) hornets nest was donated to the Science Lab after an exterminator removed it from a home. It had an odor, so I decided to "air it out" a bit by placing it behind some bushes. My eagle-eyed co-workers spotted the nest and reported it to the office! Thanks for being on the lookout!
